Adolf Hitler was well-known to have used hypnosis on crowds to gain power in Germany. (Just Google it if you doubt it.) So why cant this happen in America? It is happening.

Now, this document, An Examination of Obama's Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in His Speeches is really spreading. Many people, including young people, are starting to wake up.

Young people have come up with a saying, "Don't drink the kool-aid Obama is pushing on you."

Obama has no accomplishments, we don't know him, he wrote a memoir, he has racist connections, he is using hypnosis, and he thinks he's the Messiah and that he should be in control of the world. We've seen this story before in Germany in the 1930's, haven't we? We know what happened there.

-the mesmerized effect, especially in young people, who, because of their imaginations are more susceptible to hypnosis (read the document)

-people are calling him the "greatest leader of a generation" with no accomplishments

Socialism Comes to America

But many conservatives understood that, by capitulating to the political Left, McCain and the Republican Party were ceding unnecessary ground to Barack Obama and his “progressive” Democrats.

In his classic 1932 book, Toward Soviet America, Communist Party boss William Z. Foster wrote about how “The United Soviet States of America” would come about. As a result of various capitalist crises, the national government would assume more and more control over the economy. “In finance,” he wrote, “it will mean the nationalization of the banking system and its concentration around a central State bank…”

It would be an exaggeration to say that we are getting close to anything resembling the Soviet system. But it is also a big mistake to call massive federal intervention in the economy a “rescue” or even a “bailout.”

Over at Political Affairs Magazine, a publication of the Communist Party USA, writer John Case was gloating. His article about the crisis was headlined, “A Dose of Socialism to Forestall Disaster.” He thought that Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Board chairman Ben Bernanke had been reading the works of closet Marxists.

While many of the talking heads and pundits on TV were providing calming words of reassurance about federal intervention in the financial system, analyst Peter Schiff of Euro Pacific Capital had been accurately warning for years about a financial meltdown and says that the worst is yet to come. Asked for comment on media coverage of the financial meltdown, he told Accuracy in Media, “Absent when they have me on, it’s pretty bad.”

Many commentators, Schiff said, were telling people that if the bailout doesn’t go forward, there would be an economic crisis. However, “if we do it, there will be a bigger crisis,” he predicts. “The politicians want to make believe we can avoid paying the piper if we pass these bailouts,” he said. “It’s just not true. It’s going to collapse the currency. It’s going to make a worse economic crisis because the money they’re printing is not going to buy anything.”

While he continues to make a number of media appearances, he says that the CNBC cable network won’t have him on the air. “I predicted all this stuff, and they laughed at me,” he said. “So maybe they’re embarrassed.”

Schiff, who labels the government takeover of the financial sector as socialism and refers to the Federal Reserve Board chairman as “Comrade Bernanke,” told AIM, “The government doesn’t have the authority to do any of this stuff. This whole bailout bill is illegal. They don’t have the authority to buy up mortgages. Nothing in the Constitution says they can do this.” “Who needs Bolsheviks when you have the Fed?” he had written.

The author of “Crash Proof: How to Profit from the Coming Economic Collapse,” Schiff said that “The government doesn’t solve problems. It makes them bigger. So if we’re broke, which is the reality-that’s why these mortgages are not worth much because Americans can’t afford to pay the money back that they borrowed-the bottom line is we’ve borrowed and spent ourselves into bankruptcy following the government’s advice. They’re the ones that encouraged all this reckless borrowing and spending.”

Interviewed by AIM before the House of Representatives had initially voted down the “bailout” scheme, at a time when it looked like the plan would actually pass, Schiff had shocking advice for ordinary Americans.

“The first thing you do if you have a mortgage is you stop making the payments,” he said. “That’s the number one thing for people who have mortgages based on this plan. And use that money to buy gold or stock up on food. You’re going to need it. Meanwhile, no one is going to kick you out of your house. You’re going to be able to live in your house for probably a year or two before the government calls you up to give you a lower mortgage because nobody is going to foreclose on you right now. Why would you foreclose? You sell the loan to the government. This plan is a huge moral hazard and it’s going to lead to a surge in mortgage delinquencies.”

In an article on his website, Schiff had praised House conservatives for trying to preserve American-style capital-ism by resisting the scheme.

But when the House of Representatives, led by conservatives, initially defeated the proposed $700- billion takeover scheme, Michelle Caruso-Cabrera of CNBC brought up the subject of “four ways around Congress,” adding, “I know it’s a flippant title and those who believe in the checks and balances in the Constitution will probably be upset by the title.” One panelist wondered if the Federal Reserve could just intervene on its own.

What they were entertaining was the notion of bypassing Congress and establishing an economic dictatorship in the United States. The exchange between Caruso-Cabrera and her colleagues demonstrated that those who posture as “pro-business” can really be socialists at heart.

On CNBC, news analysts frequently complained that the “ideology” of the House Republicans had gotten in the way of the planned takeover of the financial sector. That “ideology” is free enterprise capitalism.

The Return Of Karl Marx

Libertarian thinker and writer Martin Masse captured public attention with an article insisting that the proposed federal takeover of the financial sector in the U.S. represents a comeback by Karl Marx, the father of communism, who had proposed government control of capital. “If he were to rise from the dead today,” Masse writes, “Marx might be delighted to discover that most economists and financial commentators, including many who claim to favor the free market, agree with him.” He cites commentaries in favor of the “bailout” plan from so-called conservatives at the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal and other places.

The Heritage Foundation endorsed the takeover, even though it admitted that “constitutional concerns remain” about the plan and the “centralization of power” is worrisome.

Don Lambro of the Washington Times was extremely upset that conservative House Republicans had “cowardly” listened to their constituents and had voted against the plan. “Free-market advocates said that America’s free-enterprise capitalist system rewards success and punishes failure, and government has no business intervening in the marketplace to pick the winners and losers,” he said. “That is unarguable when the economy is working as it should, but when entire economic sectors are failing as a result of a credit collapse or a loss of confidence in the nation’s banking and other financial institutions, then it is sometimes necessary for government to step in to restore them. This is one of those times.”

Indeed, Marx would be pleased.

But many conservatives understood that, by capitulating to the political Left, McCain and the Republican Party were ceding unnecessary ground to Barack Obama and his “progressive” Democrats.

If they had been honest about this debacle, they would have had to admit that, of all the Republicans running for president, only Rep. Ron Paul had predicted the crisis that was coming. But they couldn’t admit this because their proposed “solution,” which amounted to more government, more spending, and more debt, would only make things worse in the long run. And that is why Rep. Paul and so many House conservatives so strongly opposed it. The takeover plan, in their view, will only postpone the inevitable and leave us with a much bigger government.

The “debate” taking place in Washington and the media was being carefully controlled. The Republican Bush Administration supported the plan and Congressional Democrats wanted to take it further. The Democrats wanted even more federal involvement in the firms that are being acquired. In other words, it was a question of how much socialism they want.

“Government bailouts and takeovers are nothing new,” pointed out financial advisor Ric Edelman.

He cited the following: “In 1971, Richard Nixon rescued Lockheed by providing $250 million in loan guarantees. When the Penn Central Rail-road failed in 1971, Nixon created Am-trak. Jimmy Carter gave $1.5 billion in loan guarantees to Chrysler in 1979. Under Ronald Reagan, the FDIC in 1984 spent $4.5 billion to rescue Continental Illinois, which still holds the record as the largest U.S. bank failure. Then, during the S&L crisis of the 1980s, George H. W. Bush approved the bailout of 747 savings and loans at a cost to taxpayers of $124.6 billion. In 1998, under Bill Clinton, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York bailed out Long Term Capital Management at a cost of $3.6 billion. During the Mexican Peso Crisis, Clinton arranged for loans and guarantees to Mexico totaling almost $50 billion. Then, following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, George W. Bush approved $15 billion in subsidies and loan guarantees to aid the faltering airline industry. This year, the Federal Reserve approved a $30 billion credit line to help JP Morgan Chase acquire Bear Stearns and engineered takeovers of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and AIG. The names, dates and amounts are different, but that’s about it.” In fact, however, the massive scope and price tag made this plan far different. Many conservative members of Congress called it socialism.

A GLOBAL TAX FOR GLOBAL SOCIALISM

Meeting in New York on the occasion of the 63rd session of the U.N. General Assembly, members of the Socialist International (SI) called for the establishment of a World Financial Organization to provide “global stability” and regulate the financial systems of the nations of the world. This will be the inevitable result of the U.S. Congress passing a socialist-style takeover of the U.S. financial sector. This centralization of power will make it easier to integrate the U.S. into a global socialist system.

The U.N. has long played host to meetings of the SI and former U.N. Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali was a former vice-president of the SI. This year’s meeting, which was held on September 26, included “invited guests” from the United Nations such as Juan Somavía, Director-General of the International Labor Organization; Kemal Dervis, Administrator of the United Nations Development Program; and Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean.

The proposed World Financial Organization (WFO) would “fill up the gap in the existing structure of the financial system by monitoring and regulating private capital flows,” its proponents say. Those “private flows” represent capitalism.

The WFO, a long-time dream of officials of the United Nations, could lay the groundwork for a global tax to drain away some of that money for government purposes on a global basis. A proposed “World Tax Organization,” which has been on their drawing board for years, would collect and dispense the revenue.

The SI, which shares the same basic economic goals as international Communism, is an association of 170 political parties and organizations from all continents, including the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), whose Chicago branch has backed Barack Obama’s political career from the start.

Obama’s backers in the Democratic Socialists of America were ecstatic and preparing for a complete government takeover in the U.S. “While recognizing the critical limitations of the Obama candidacy and the American political system,” the organization said in a statement, “DSA believes that the possible election of Senator Obama to the presidency in November represents a potential opening for social and labor movements to generate the critical political momentum necessary to implement a progressive political agenda.”

The DSA cautioned, however, that the Left should not be so involved in the national presidential campaign that it ignores the general election races for the U.S. House and Senate. “We need more progressives in Congress as well as increased Democratic majorities,” it said.

The Socialist International, meanwhile, is preparing for a high-level meeting in Mexico on November 17-18, “to discuss an agenda with the urgent world financial situation at its center, following U.S. elections.”

MORE BAILOUTS ON THE WAY

Two more bailouts are pending before Congress-both of them sponsored by Senator Barack Obama. One is the Jubilee Act, which would cancel as much as $75 billion worth of Third World debt, and the other is the Global Poverty Act, which would cost an estimated $845 billion. Total potential cost: $920 billion.

If they don’t pass Congress this year, they could come back in an Obama Administration.

Citing AIM research on the topic, commentators such as Andrew C. McCarthy pointed out that Obama’s Global Poverty Act (S. 2433) would cost even more than the $700 billion socialist takeover of the U.S. financial sector. Obama’s bill passed the House and Senator Joe Biden’s Foreign Relations Committee and now awaits full Senate action. But the Jubilee Act (S. 2166), which is co-sponsored in the Senate by Barack Obama, has also passed the House and awaits Senate action.

Republican presidential candidate John McCain is not an official sponsor of the Jubilee Act or Obama’s Global Poverty Act. But the pressure was mounting on McCain, as well as running mate Sarah Palin, to endorse the legislation. In fact, McCain recently asked the wealthy rock star Bono, an advocate of more U.S. foreign aid spending, for advice on how to help the rest of the world.

“The ONE Campaign and co-founder Bono spoke by telephone this afternoon with Senator John McCain, Governor Sarah Palin, and members of the McCain campaign policy staff about the issue of extreme poverty, especially in Africa,” a September 24 ONE campaign news release declared. “The call today was part of ongoing conversations between ONE and both the McCain and Obama presidential campaigns.” No details of the conversations were provided.

The ONE campaign organization has been urging Senate passage of the Jubilee Act, which would cancel the debts of 26 foreign countries even while the U.S. suffers through its own financial crisis and Americans are losing their homes and savings. It passed the House in April on a 285-132 vote.

While the Global Poverty Act has started getting more serious attention, the implications of passage of the Jubilee Act have been generally ignored. Yet, a representative of the Treasury Department, Assistant Secretary For International Affairs Clay Lowery, testified at a Senate hearing in April that “The Jubilee Bill represents an unfunded international mandate to fully cancel roughly $75 billion worth of debts owed by the potentially eligible countries to official bilateral and multilateral creditors.” This is on top of the $110 billion in debt reduction already being granted to various countries, he said.

Despite foreign aid having cost the American people $2 trillion since World War II, Bono’s ONE organization believes in “allocating more of the U.S. budget toward providing basic needs” for the rest of the world.

ONE also promotes compliance with the U.N.’s Millennium Development Goals, the same expensive effort set forth legislatively in Obama’s Global Poverty Act.

Hypocrite Bono

Bono, the lead singer of the rock band U2, is one of the richest entertainers in the world and gets tremendous access to the media-and politicians-because of his anti-poverty campaign. Less well-known is the fact that his band came in for criticism two years ago when it transferred part of its business empire out of Ireland to avoid high tax rates.

ONE campaign “partner” organizations include the United Nations Association, the pro-U.N. lobbying group, and Ted Turner’s United Nations Foundation, which financially supports the U.N.

While the ONE campaign is generally regarded as a left-wing organization, it claims support from such notables as Pat Robertson of the Christian Broadcasting Network and Purpose Driven Life author and pastor Rick Warren.

Also bowing to the Left, before he came to Washington, D.C. to work on the $700-billion federal takeover plan for the U.S. financial sector, McCain had taken time to attend and speak at the “Clinton Global Initiative,” a campaign underwritten by big companies and rich individuals to promote the pet causes of the disgraced former president. One of these causes has been an international tax on airline tickets to generate funds to fight HIV/AIDS.

Obama, as well as Bono, also spoke at the Clinton event.

On September 25, after conversing with McCain and Palin, Bono and his collaborators were scheduled to hold a “United Nations emergency summit on the Millennium Development Goals.” Bono’s ONE organization described them as “eight goals” that were “drawn from the targets contained in the Millennium Declaration that was adopted by 189 nations-and signed by 147 heads of state and governments during the UN Millennium Summit in September 2000.”

Similar language is incorporated in Obama’s Global Poverty Act, which has passed the House and Senator Joe Biden’s Foreign Relations Committee, and now awaits full Senate action. As AIM has documented repeatedly, a careful analysis of the legislation, as well as the follow-up 2002 U.N. Financing for Development Conference, which was designed to make the “goals” into a reality, leads to the conclusion that the U.S. will have to provide $845 billion in increased foreign aid spending, generated if necessary by a global tax on the American people.

At the Clinton Global Initiative meeting, Obama reaffirmed a “commitment” to “embracing the Millennium Development Goals, which aim to cut extreme poverty in half by 2015.” He added, “This will take more resources from the United States, and as President I will increase our foreign assistance to provide them.”

DEAR FELLOW MEDIA WATCHDOG October-B 2008

THE COVERAGE OF THE FINANCIAL CRISIS HAS BEEN HELPFUL IN demonstrating that many of the “conservatives” in the media are not so conservative after all. When the going gets tough, they are quick to abandon their principles. Exhibit number one is Fred Barnes of The Weekly Standard, who declared on Fox News on October 2 that conservatives in the House of Representatives opposing the socialist-style bailout scheme were crazy, nuts, and idiots. Barnes went so far as to claim, without citing any evidence at all, that President Reagan would have supported a $700-billion federal takeover of the financial sector in the U.S. Wasn’t it Reagan who said, “Government is not the solution to our problem, government is the problem.” A new Rasmussen poll finds that 59 percent of Americans still agree with Reagan on that. Rasmussen reported, “The fact that most Americans still agree with Reagan helps explain the ongoing public resistance to the bailout bill currently working its way through Congress and the fear of many voters that the federal government will do too much rather than too little to deal with the current economic situation.” Please send the enclosed postcard to Fred Barnes, asking him to apologize to House conservatives. Send another to William Kristol, another bailout backer.

I HAD ALWAYS LAUGHED IN THE PAST WHEN PEOPLE ON THE POLITICAL LEFT HAD REFERRED to Fox News as “Faux News.” I know that Fox News has been successful because of the fact that its programs included conservative viewpoints. But during coverage of the financial crisis, the Fox News “conservatives” sounded like Barney Frank and Maxine Waters. All of the conservative panelists on Brit Hume’s normally excellent “Special Report” show were cheerleaders for the takeover scheme. These included Barnes, Kristol and Charles Krauthammer. Yet, when the takeover plan ultimately passed, most House Republicans stood on principle and opposed it. House Republicans voted against it 108-91. House Democrats voted for it 172-63. Indeed, House conservatives had led the opposition, standing on principles of free enterprise capitalism. Barnes’ vociferous support for the socialist takeover of America’s financial sector seemed to surprise “Special Report” moderator Brit Hume himself. On the October 2 show, Hume said to Barnes: “Let me ask you this question, Fred. You’re not unsympathetic to the conservatives in the House of Representatives, and the noisiest opposition to this measure has come from conservatives in the House. Give me your thoughts on the quality of their arguments.” Barnes replied, “I think their arguments are idiotic and myopic. It is as if they are operating from some ideology that says we cannot interfere with the free market by having the government do more. But, look, Ronald Reagan would do this. Alexander Hamilton did it. When you have an economy, when you have a financial crisis that threatens to blow up the economy and put America in a deep recession or worse, that’s when government is supposed to act. If you’re a libertarian and you don’t believe in government, that’s something. But those Republicans are not libertarians. They’re just nuts.” He went on to say that some of the proposed alternatives offered by conservatives were “crazy.”

BARNES, WHO CLAIMS TO BE AND IS ADVERTISED AS A CONSERVATIVE, WAS EXPRESSING opposition to the “ideology” of conservatism. His idea of having the government “do more” was an unprecedented federal intervention in the economy. It was the socialist “solution” of Barack Obama and most Democrats, and endorsed by Senator John McCain and most Senate Republicans. But House Republicans, the most conservative legislators on Capitol Hill, remained opposed to the measure, even after legions of lobbyists were sent to turn lawmakers around. Of course, despite what Barnes said, there’s absolutely no evidence that Ronald Reagan would ever favor such a scheme. Reagan said big government was the problem, not the solution.

BARNES IS ENTITLED TO HIS OPINION, NO MATTER HOW LIBERAL IT MAY BE. BUT WE SHOULD no longer be under any illusion that he is a “conservative” on fiscal or economic matters. What struck me was the vicious nature of his criticism of House conservatives. Barnes is never this vicious when he comments on liberals and their policies. It was unseemly and wrong to attack the conservatives on Capitol Hill who were leading the effort to save American-style capitalism. Frankly, Barnes should apologize for his outburst. And we should thank the House conservatives for trying to prevent what happened on October 3-the day the bill passed and capitalism died in the United States. Barnes, of course, wasn’t the only one who went over to the other side. The Heritage Foundation is facing strong dissension in the ranks over its decision to support the Wall Street bailout. The situation is similar over at Investor’s Business Daily (IBD), whose conservative editorial page urged swift federal action to finance a financial sector takeover. Its “Time to Act” editorial severely undercut the credibility of its own editorial series highlighting and criticizing the socialist proposals of Barack Obama. Please send the other postcard to IBD about this.

DURING A TIME WHEN MOST OF THE COMMENTARY AND NEWS “ANALYSIS’ WAS IN FAVOR of the Wall Street takeover plan, Rep. Brad Sherman of California was on Larry Kudlow’s CNBC show on September 30 citing evidence that the legislation potentially “provides hundreds of billions of dollars of bailouts to foreign investors,” including in Communist China. The provision was Section 112, “Coordination With Foreign Authorities and Central Banks,” which “Requires the Secretary to coordinate with foreign authorities and central banks to establish programs similar to TARP”-the Troubled Assets Relief Program. Sherman is a Democrat, but the foreign bank bailout provision alarmed Senator Pat Roberts, Republican of Kansas, who said, “The plan permits taxpayer dollars to be used to buy assets of foreign financial institutions that have a presence in the United States. If U.S. taxpayer dollars are going to be put at risk, those dollars should be used to shore up U.S.-based companies.” Senator Elizabeth Dole of North Carolina alluded to this as well, saying in opposition that “It bails out foreign investors before American homeowners struggling to pay their mortgages.”

THOSE SENATORS VOTING AGAINST THE LEGISLATION, KNOWN AS THE EMERGENCY ECONOMIC Stabilization Act, were Allard (R-CO), Barrasso (R-WY), Brownback (R-KS), Bunning (R-KY), Cantwell (D-WA), Cochran (R-MS), Crapo (R-ID), DeMint (R-SC), Dole (R-NC), Dorgan (D-ND), Enzi (R-WY), Feingold (D-WI), Inhofe (R-OK), Johnson (D-SD), Landrieu (D-LA), Nelson (D-FL), Roberts (R-KS), Sanders (I-VT), Sessions (R-AL), Shelby (R-AL), Stabenow (D-MI), Tester (D-MT), Vitter (R-LA), Wicker (R-MS), and Wyden (D-OR). Of the 25 opponents, 15 were Republicans.

IN A STATEMENT TO THE MEDIA, I SAID THAT THE BAILOUT BILL HAD BEEN “THE SUBJECT OF more one-sided media coverage than Barack Obama’s campaign.” Not only does it represent the destruction of America’s free enterprise system, there is no reason to believe it will ultimately succeed because it piles more debt on more debt and more spending on more spending. That is the message of Peter Schiff, who had predicted the crisis. Those in favor of a socialist takeover of the U.S. economy included not only traditional liberal media but “conservative” papers such as Investor’s Business Daily and the Wall Street Journal and Republican blogger Hugh Hewitt. This fiasco demonstrates that we desperately need new conservative voices in the media.

Obama Worship Hour

Amber waves of grain. Children waving flags. Happy veterans. Glowing young couples. These are just some of the images seen on the Obama Worship Hour (otherwise known as a half hour paid political advertisement) last evening, broadcast on five channels: NBC, MSNBC, CBS, Fox and Univision. CNN declined the generous offer; ABC was unable to reschedule its Wednesday lineup in time. FOX News was not even invited to join the other supplicants at the altar.

Slickly produced, the 30-minute spot, with its soft music, emotive images and tearjerker stories of hardworking Americans going through difficult times (hey, why wasn’t I auditioned for this?), reminds one more of a movie on the Lifetime, Oxygen or Hallmark channels than a political ad. The kind of movie that makes you squirm uncomfortably in your seat in embarrassment, wondering when the commercial will come so you can run to the kitchen for a bracing jolt of caffeinated soda (or something stronger). But then you remember: the whole thing is a commercial!

(Cue shower music from Psycho…)

Those emotive images I mentioned? One of them includes Obama speaking to a group of retirees whose pensions were cut. He’s standing in the middle of a gazebo, the sun shining on his hair in a way that’s reminiscent of a – wait for it – halo. Yes, The One has indeed come back to lead the faithful to nirvana.

After two years on the stump and over a quarter of a million dollars spent, Obama has yet to close the deal with the American people. Was he able to convince them last night? That depends on how much of a tolerance the American people have for schmooze and snooze – which is pretty much what the Obama Worship Hour was from start to finish.

After the first profile of a struggling family, Obama blamed the recent market fallout on “eight years of failed policy” and said our economy is in the worst shape since the Great Depression. He’s been saying this now for a number of weeks, hoping you won’t realize that really, we’re in the worst shape since the Carter administration. (Let’s play “Guess That Party!”)

Among his promises were those famous tax cuts for everyone making less than $200,000 a year. Of course, earlier this year the threshold was $300,000 and as recently as the last debate it was $250,000. And if you ask Joe Biden, the number is $150,000. But hey, who’s counting? Especially when the tax cut he’s promising for 95% of Americans actually amounts to a freebie from the government, since approximately one third of tax filers end up owing no income tax after taking their deductions and credits allowed by the IRS. Who gets to pay for this largesse? Higher-income bracket people – you know, rich people.

In other words, spreading the wealth. Oops.

He also promised loans for small businesses to help pay their workers “just like after 9/11.” I thought politicizing 9/11 was taboo. Oh right, that’s only Republicans. Gotcha. But wouldn’t those loans be unnecessary if he said, “Let’s NOT raise taxes” on anyone? Sorry, my brain sometimes goes all logical on me. I promise it won’t happen again.

Basically, Obama wants to “restore fairness to the American economy and fulfill our commitments to the American people.” The word “fairness” is more code for socialism: it’s not fair that some people are able to earn more, so we have to “level the playing field” by taking from some and giving it to others. And about those commitments: our Founders felt that the government’s biggest commitment was to stay out of our way. However, since Obama feels the Constitution “reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day,” it’s not surprising that he thinks that it’s his job to change government’s role in a way that has not been seen since Johnson’s (not so) Great Society. (Rush Limbaugh touched on this during his program yesterday in a “prebuttal” to Obama’s infomercial.)

Watching this, I must admit, I’m appalled at the way Obama has a tendency to drop his Gs in order to sound more folksy. According to Peggy Noonan, such talk is a “new vulgarization in American politics.” Oh wait, that note was for Sarah Palin. Move along, nothing to see here…

Ah, here we come to energy policy. Obama wants to invest $15 billion in renewable energy such as wind, solar and biofuels, claiming that 5 million jobs “that can never be outsourced” will be created. But is it the government’s job to invest money in what has, until now, been the domain of the private sector and free market? He’s also promising to help our automakers “retool” so they can build fuel-efficient cars. “Retool” here is another word for government handout to private corporations. Haven’t Americans had enough of bailouts? Maybe if the automakers would give the unions the boot they’d stand more of a chance at making a buck.

Besides, we’ve seen how the government handles investments through the muck-up of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Do we really want them handling more of our financial affairs?

Obama talks about going through the federal budget line by line and cutting programs that don’t work and making those that do work more efficient. But as in the debates, he declines to say which ones he’d cut – except, of course, his sop to the far Left: “chang[ing] our policy in Iraq.” Once again, he speaks of ending the war. The word “win” doesn’t seem to be in his vocabulary. (If I were him, I might want a refund on the cost of that expensive Ivy League education.)

Obama likens the money we spend in Iraq to money that could be spent on schools and healthcare, yet it’s not the government’s job to be spending money in those areas. Hey, if throwing money at schools is the answer, why are Washington D.C.’s public schools near the bottom of the heap instead of at the top?

The most important way our government can “secure the blessings of liberty” is by “provid[ing] for the common defense,” as laid out in the preamble to the Constitution. The argument of whether we should have gone into Iraq is now moot. We’re there, and the surge worked. The Iraqis are getting closer and closer to being able to fend for themselves. Leaving now would leave a vacuum that Iran is all more than willing to fill and, along with an emboldened al Qaeda, would use the strategically placed Iraq to use as a launching ground for their nefarious plans to destroy Israel and spread radical Islam throughout the world.

Do we have a “moral obligation” to provide free college education to everyone? Obama seems to think so. Those who would rather go into a trade, though, may be out of luck. Sorry, all you future plumbers, electricians and beauticians out there.

The right to healthcare comes up, right on cue. To all of you who believe healthcare is a right: Imagine that tomorrow every healthcare professional – doctors, nurses, phlebotomists, dentists, physical therapists, and so on – were to suddenly quit. Each and every one of them. There goes your “right,” right down the toilet. And again, do we really want the architects of the Fannie and Freddie implosion to be in charge of our healthcare too?

Another little tidbit that cracked me up was seeing Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, praising Obama’s economic plan. Sorry, but don’t count me as one of those being impressed by the opinion of a guy whose company bowed to pressure by China and censors itself in that country so as not to lose that Communist country’s business.

One of the biggest complaints that Obama’s critics have is that we don’t know who he is. A little-known senator is suddenly in position to have the most influential and powerful job on the planet. But who is he? What’s he like? Who were the people who motivated him in his life? If you were looking for reassurance on those murky characters like Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko, Rev. Wright and Rashid Khalidi, you didn’t get it last night. Instead, we were treated to a rehash about how the absence of his father shaped him, how his mother had to wake him at 4:30 in the morning so she could go to work, and how difficult her death was for him. And Michelle tells us what a great dad he is. (Speaking of Michelle, I’m still waiting for the New York Times to do as flattering a profile on her as they did on Cindy McCain.)

Finally, Obama promises to be faithful to the Constitution – an amusing concept, considering he feels it represents a “fundamental flaw” in our country. He also promises to bolster the military. Yet past declarations belie those promises, such as cutting tens of billions in wasteful military spending, including “unproven missile systems,” and a “goal of a world without nuclear weapons.” Good luck with that.

If you’ve been paying any attention to the campaign, you learned nothing new during the Obama Worship Hour, including the fact that as long as he’s on script, Obama does very well – it’s when he doesn’t have a teleprompter in front of him or an editor in charge of cutting out unflattering video footage that little things like “spreading the wealth” slip out.

And considering all of the money that must have gone into the making and marketing of this video, it could have used a little more pizzazz. The reactions I got from my friends online? Ho-hum.

Putting aside the smarmy qualities of this infomercial aside, the fact that he could afford to make and air it (on five networks during prime time) at all should tell us what we need to know about Obama: he promised to accept public financing for the general election and broke that promise when he realized he could raise a lot more on his own. Or, if you’d like, he outright lied when he made the promise. If CNN’s Campbell Brown and Democrat Bob Kerrey can both note the contradiction, I like to think the rest of America is savvy enough to figure it out too.

Is this an aberration or a pattern?

On November 4th, Americans will head to the polls to elect a leader, not a religious figure immortalized on celluloid for consumption by the masses. Look beyond the hype, and vote accordingly.

Okay, time to wake up and make your way to coffee hour. Don’t forget to leave a little donation in the collection plate on your way out.

Obama funded foreign thug who promised Islamic state

Agreement with Muslims pledged to protect terrorists, throttle Christians, impose Shariah

NEW YORK – A controversial Kenyan leader for whom Sen. Barack Obama not only campaigned, but raised almost $1 million during the run-up to that nation’s 2007 presidential election, had concluded a written agreement with Muslim leaders stipulating that, if they delivered him the Muslim vote, he would in turn, once elected, convert Kenya into an Islamic state governed by Shariah law, protect terrorists from prosecution, and effectively ban Christianity.

WND documented earlier that Obama supported and campaigned for Kenya opposition leader Raila Odinga during a 2006 senatorial “fact-finding” trip to Kenya, and subsequently reported on documents revealing Obama’s part in raising almost $1 million for Odinga.

Accord to a BBC report, Odinga says he is Obama’s cousin, specifically that the presidential candidate’s father was Odinga’s maternal uncle. Obama’s father, a Kenyan, married his American mother while both were attending the university of Hawaii.

Odinga took over the office of prime minister in Kenya after his campaign called for protests of an election he lost by more than 200,000 votes to incumbent Mwai Kibaki. The resulting violence by marauding Muslim mobs left 1,000 people dead, hundreds of thousands displaced from their homes and 800 Christian churches damaged or destroyed. No Islamic mosques were damaged, however.

Among the worst attacks occurred when several dozen women and children sought refuge in a Christian church which mobs burned down on top of them.

WND has reported that the violence appears to have been part of Odinga’s campaign strategy. Former members of Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement party, or ODM, claim Obama did not call on Odinga to drop his voter-fraud campaign or withdraw from his pursuit of the presidency even after he lost and the violence erupted.

WND has confirmed that at one point, then-United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice actually pressured Kenyan Vice President Kolonzo to step down from his position to bring the Odinga-connected Luo-mob protest violence to an end by appointing Odinga vice president so he could assume the nation’s second highest political office.

When Kolonzo refused to step down, Annan and Rice proposed the Odinga-inspired plan of appointing him as prime minister, effectively allowing Odinga to share the head-of-state position with Kibaki, a solution that was adopted.

Now WND has obtained a copy of Odinga’s agreement with Sheik Abdullahi Abdi, the chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum, that outlined plans, among other things, for wide-ranging attacks on Christians.

In the August 2007 document, Odinga promised that within six months of becoming president he would “rewrite the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared religions.”

While in Kenya earlier this month, WND interviewed several Christians who had been officials in Odinga’s ODM, but who had left the party and abandoned Odinga after learning of his agreement with Muslims. Their names cannot be disclosed here as they fear for their lives.

Those sources, considered highly credible, told WND there are several versions of the agreement that have been floated around on the Internet, but that the document reproduced by WND is authentic. In fact, they went through the document line by line with WND to confirm its legitimacy.

A news video (below) of a press conference held during the Kenyan election campaign and broadcast in Kenya by Nairobi-based NTV shows Sheik Abdullah Abdi, chairman of National Muslim Leaders Forum, discussing the Memorandum of Understanding.

Although Odinga later produced a “short version” that sanitized the agreement, highly credible sources close to Odinga confirmed for WND that the long version reproduced by WND is authentic, and that the short version was produced just to defuse the controversy.

Indeed, one of the main reasons WND went to Kenya was to meet ex-ODM officials who would validate the original Memorandum of Understanding as authentic.

In the document signed by Odinga and the chairman of the National Muslims Leaders Forum, the Muslims promised to “enable and assist ODM and The Candidate win the National Elections and the Presidency of the Republic of Kenya.”

The Muslims agreed to “issue a joint statement declaring that all Muslims should support and vote for Raila Amollo Odinga and ODM” and “engage in active campaigns for Raila Amollo Odinga and ODM through the Republic and impress upon Muslims, publicly and emphatically, the requirement to vote for ODM and Raila Amollo Odinga.”

In return, Odinga agreed to give “the Council of Islamic leaders … an oversight role to monitor activities of ALL (emphasis in original) other religions and any applications for religious activities and institutions will require their approval. They shall have the right to deny approval to cults and other evil practices.”

The plan apparently was to turn Kenya, which has long been a Christian-majority nation, into an Islamic state.

In addition to promising to re-write the Kenyan constitution and enshrine Islamic Shariah law therein, Odinga promised to immediately “dismiss the Commissioner of Police who has allowed himself to be used by heathens and Zionists to oppress the Kenya Muslim community.”

Further, Muslims suspected of terrorism, even international terrorism, were to be provided new protections, with Odinga’s promise to:

“Disband the imperialist Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU) that was set up for the sole purpose of terrorizing, harassing, intimidating and deporting innocent Kenyan Muslims to Guantanamo Bay.”

Further, Odinga agreed, “No Muslim residing in Kenya whether a citizen, visitor or relative of any of the above shall be subjected to any process involving the laws of a foreign country and in particular any Muslim arrested for or suspected of Terrorism or any other International crime shall only be tried within the boarders (sic) of Kenya …”

The power and influence of Islam was to be further extended with Odinga’s promise to: “within 1 year facilitate the establishment of a Shariah court in every Kenya divisional headquarters,” and to “popularize Islam, the only true religion … by ordering every primary school in Kenya in the regions to conduct daily Madrassa class.”

Strict Islamic Shariah law was to be enforced with immediate crackdowns on alcohol, pork and other “haram” products and practices, including a ban “on women’s public dressing styles that are considered immoral and offensive to the Muslim faith in the Muslim regions of the Coastal and Northeastern regions.”

And ominously, Christianity was to be subjected to a formal crackdown with Odinga’s promise to “impose a total ban on open-air gospel crusades by worshippers of the cross in the Coastal and North Eastern regions” and his plan to “outlaw gospel programs (preaching, purported faith healing, etc.) on KBC, the National Broadcaster.”

Who Is Barack Obama?

The book entitled Obama: Why Black America Should Have Doubts examines the character and intentions of the first African-American ever nominated for presidency from a major political party. The author, William Owens, Jr., argues that voting Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) for president can prove disastrous, if not a curse to the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and to the progress of Black Americans.

In his book, Owens raises critical questions as to why Black America should have serious doubts about Senator Obama becoming president of the United States, as his religious beliefs and his stance on public policy conflict with Judeo-Christian values and go against everything that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and other Civil Rights leaders ever believed.

Thus, Owens warns Black America not to vote for Senator Obama, based on his charisma, his handsome features, his eloquent speeches and his black skin, but rather, judge him by the content of his character, a sentiment spoken by the great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the Civil Rights Movement.

Owens claims, as an African-American, he has developed doubts about Senator Obama becoming president based on what he has seen, read and heard. “I have come to view him as potentially dangerous-for our country and in particular for Black Americans,” Owens said. “We are often afraid to look deeper-beyond the obvious-because then we would have to be responsible for our choices and refute the belief that a person who looks like us will automatically take care of us.”

Over time, Owens has determined that Senator Obama has not been completely truthful about his place of origin, his religious beliefs or his heritage. “Obama’s life story is vastly different from the one he portrays,” Owens argued. “Barack Obama’s birth certificate, [of] which he fails to provide the original to the public, has raised questions regarding his own American citizenship and the ability to become President under the Constitution.”

“Barack Obama does not and cannot relate to our past as Black Americans because in reality he is not a Black American,” explained Owens, as he reiterated a passage from the book titled, Obama: The Man Behind the Mask, by author Andy Martin. “Obama is a Muslim who has concealed his religion. Obama has a great opportunity to be forthright. Instead, he has treated his Muslim heritage as a dark secret.”

Further, Owens contends, “Obama Senior was part of one of the most corrupt and violent organizations in Africa: the Kenyatta regime.” “I believe Obama’s secret shame at his family history of rape, murder and arson is what actualizes him.”

In the end, Owens claimed, “it is the Black mindset that presses upon us to say, give the brother a chance.” “On one level, I confess I understand this tendency. Yet, we, as Black Americans must move beyond this.”

“The excitement of having a man on the presidential ballot whose skin is browner than any in recent American history is something to consider,” said Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Many Black Americans are convinced that justice for those of us once known as Negroes in America will be done by electing a brown-skinned, African-European as President. Obviously, America is hungry for change, but America is looking in the wrong place,” she said. “Barack cannot deliver America. The Senator’s politics are neither a blessing nor praiseworthy.”

Alveda King explained that Senator Obama’s approach to solving social ills is dead wrong and can prove counterproductive to the African-American progress. “Senator Obama’s answer to the ills of society, of higher government spending, weaker national defense, continued tax dollars to Planned Parenthood, and support of gay marriage are diametrically opposed to everything African-Americans truly believe and an anathema to the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”

Alveda King argued, “every time Barack Obama supports abortion on demand, gay civil unions and higher government spending, he is sacrificing the lives of our children and releasing injustice into the heads and hearts of America.” In addition, she claimed, “There is no justice in the onslaught of oppressive anti-life measures, such as the racist practice of abortion on demand; anti-procreation legislation; unbalanced judicial tyranny leading to excess incarceration of our young; anti-choice in the education of our youth; and a negative graphic media leading to poverty of mind and spirit.”

Real change, Alveda argued, means ending the war on American streets, putting an end to the war that wrestles against the minds of our children, ending racism and put an end to the attack against traditional-marriage families.

Concluding, Alveda King says, “For those who suggest that Barack Obama advances the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I say look again. His politics are anathema to the dream!”

Farrakhan on Obama: ‘The Messiah is absolutely speaking’

‘BARACK HAS CAPTURED THE YOUTH’, ‘WILL BRING ABOUT UNIVERSAL CHANGE’

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, another powerful Chicago-based political figure associated with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and other long-time associates of Democratic Party presidential candidate Barack Obama, is leaving no doubt about what he thinks of the leader in the campaign for the White House.

He says when Obama talks “the Messiah is absolutely speaking.”

Addressing a large crowd behind a podium Feb. 24 with a Nation of Islam Saviour’s Day 2008 sign, Farrakhan proclaims,

“You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn’t care anything about. That’s a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking.”

“Brothers and sisters,” Farrakhan said, “Barack Obama to me, is a herald of the Messiah. Barack Obama is like the trumpet that alerts you something new, something better is on the way.”

Farrakhan points out that the man Nation of Islam followers refer to as “the Savior,” Fard Muhammad, had a black father and a white mother, just as Obama did.

“A black man with a white mother became a savior to us,” he said. “A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall.

“Would God allow Barack to be president of a country that has been so racist, so evil in its treatment of Hispanics, native Americans, blacks?” he asked. “Would God do something like that? Yeah. Of course he would. That’s to show you that the stone that the builders rejected has become the headstone of the corner. This is a sign to you. It’s the time of our rise. It’s the time that we should take our place. The future is all about you.”

Obama a Muslim who studied in Islamic schools

Says Arab world campaign contributions ‘may enable him to win U.S. presidency’

JERUSALEM – Sen. Barack Obama is a Muslim of Kenyan origins who studied in Islamic schools and whose campaign may have been financed by people in the Islamic and African worlds, Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi said during a recent televised national rally.

“There are elections in America now. Along came a black citizen of Kenyan African origins, a Muslim, who had studied in an Islamic school in Indonesia. His name is Obama,” said Gadhafi in little-noticed remarks he made at a rally marking the anniversary of the 1986 U.S. air raid on his country.

The remarks, translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute, MEMRI, were aired on Al Jazeera in June.

“All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man,” continued Gadhafi. “They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency.

“We are hoping that this black man will take pride in his African and Islamic identity, and in his faith, and that [he will know] that he has rights in America, and that he will change America from evil to good, and that America will establish relations that will serve it well with other peoples, especially the Arabs,” Gadhafi said.

Gadhafi went on to lament statements Obama made at a June 4 address to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee in which the presidential candidate stated if he is elected president, “Jerusalem would remain the capital of Israel and it must remain undivided.”

But it seems Gadhafi was not aware that the next day, during a CNN appearance, Obama explained he meant Jerusalem shouldn’t be physically divided with a partition and was not referring to the city remaining in exclusively Jewish hands.

Stated Gadhafi: “But we were taken by surprise when our African Kenyan brother [Obama], who is an American national, made statements (about Jerusalem) that shocked all his supporters in the Arab world, in Africa, and in the Islamic world.

“We hope that this is merely an elections ‘clearance sale,’ as they say in Egypt – in other words, merely an elections lie. As you know, this is the farce of elections – a person lies and lies to people, just so that they will vote for him, and afterwards, when they say to him, ‘You promised this and that,’ he says: ‘No, this was just elections propaganda.’ This is the farce of democracy for you. He says: ‘This was propaganda, and you thought I was being serious. I was fooling you to get your votes.’

“Allah willing, it will turn out that this was merely elections propaganda. Obama said he would turn Jerusalem into the eternal capital of the Israelis. This indicates that our brother Obama is ignorant of international politics, and is not familiar with the Middle East conflict,” Gadhafi said.

Gadhafi went on to express his hope if elected Obama will implement a “one state solution” to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, meaning Israel would be flooded with millions of Palestinian Arabs who would terminate the country’s Jewish nationality.

He said he was worried Obama may have a “black inferiority complex” whereby he may enact “white men” policies to prove he is no different from “white” America.

“The thing we fear most is that the black man suffers from an inferiority complex. This is dangerous. If our brother Obama feels that because he is black he doesn’t have the right to rule America, this would be a disaster, because such a feeling would make him act whiter than the white, and go to an extreme in his persecution and degradation of the blacks.

“We say to him: Brother, the whites and blacks in America are equal. They are all immigrants. America belongs neither to the whites nor to the blacks. America belongs to its original inhabitants, the Indians. Both the whites and the blacks immigrated to America, and so they are equal, and Obama has the right to hold his head high, and say: ‘I am a partner in America. This is my land as much as it is yours. If it is not my land, it is not yours either. It is the land of the Indians. You are immigrants, and so are we.’”

Obama was ‘quite religious in Islam’

Obama repeatedly has denied he is a Muslim. His campaign site states: “Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised as a Muslim, and is a committed Christian.”

But as WND has reported, public records in Indonesia listed Obama as a Muslim during his early years, and a number of childhood friends claimed to the media Obama was once a mosque-attending Muslim.

Obama’s campaign several times has wavered in response to reporters queries regarding the senator’s childhood faith.

Commenting on a recent Los Angeles Times report quoting a childhood friend stating Obama prayed in a mosque “something the presidential candidate said he never did,” Obama’s campaign released a statement explaining the senator “has never been a practicing Muslim.”

Widely distributed reports have noted that in January 1968, Obama was registered as a Muslim at Jakarta’s Roman Catholic Franciscus Assisi Primary School under the name Barry Soetoro. He was listed as an Indonesian citizen whose stepfather, listed on school documents as “L Soetoro Ma,” worked for the topography department of the Indonesian Army.

Catholic schools in Indonesia routinely accept non-Catholic students but exempt them from studying religion. Obama’s school documents, though, wrongly list him as being Indonesian.

After attending the Assisi Primary School, Obama was enrolled “also as a Muslim, according to documents” in the Besuki Primary School, a public school in Jakarta.

Laotze blog, run by an American expatriate in Southeast Asia who visited the Besuki school, noted: “All Indonesian students are required to study religion at school, and a young ‘Barry Soetoro,’ being a Muslim, would have been required to study Islam daily in school. He would have been taught to read and write Arabic, to recite his prayers properly, to read and recite from the Quran and to study the laws of Islam.”

Indeed, in Obama’s autobiography, “Dreams From My Father,” he acknowledged studying the Quran and describes the public school as “a Muslim school.”

Investigation hits headlines as author detained

Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama’s participation in Kenya’s political battles grabbed headlines when author and WND senior staff reporter Jerome Corsi was detained by soldiers and prevented from reporting his findings to media at a news conference in Nairobi.

Now “The Obama Nation,” the book that contains a large part of Corsi’s investigation into Obama’s work with opposition leader Raila Odinga in Kenya, has skyrocketed up the Top 10 list of best-sellers at Shop.WND.com.

The New York Times No. 1 best-seller outlines Obama’s extensive connections with Islam and radical politics, his continuing links inside Kenya and what may have been a political strategy discussion about Odinga’s campaign that resulted in post-election violence against that nation’s Christian community.

Corsi, who also co-wrote the No. 1 New York Times bestselling “Unfit for Command” and is a senior staff reporter for WND, writes about the “extreme leftism” that an Obama presidency would feature.

By tracing Obama’s career and influences from his early years in Hawaii and Indonesia, the beginnings of his political career in Chicago, his voting record in the Illinois Legislature, his religious training, his religious conversion through his recent involvement in Kenyan politics, his political advisers and fund-raising associates and his meteoric campaign for president, Corsi shows that an Obama presidency would, in his words, be “a repeat of the failed extremist politics that have characterized and plagued Democratic Party politics since the late 1960s.”

Corsi, who has fallen ill following his detention in Kenya, was confronted by armed soldiers and immigration authorities just as he was planning a news conference in Kenya to release more results from his investigation of Obama and Odinga.

The situation developed last Tuesday as Corsi was to discuss Obama’s ties to Kenya as well as Odinga, who has claimed he is Obama’s first cousin. It was a series of “protests” following Odinga’s 2007 election defeat in that nation’s presidential election that produced enough violence to damage or destroy hundreds of Christian churches and kill an estimated 1,000 people.

Corsi was taken under guard to an immigration office and held without food for most of the day until his scheduled flight out of Nairobi was being prepared, and he then was taken to the airport.

A Kenyan resident later told Corsi bribes totaling thousands of dollars were paid to facilitate his departure, at which point Kenyan authorities made sure he understood he was not welcome.

“Don’t ever come back. See you in hell,” Corsi reported an unidentified official told him as the author left.

In second place this week is the strong statement made by the NObama 08 Magnetic Bumper Sticker.

The bumper sticker has been at either of the top two positions in the list for most of the last several months.

It reflects an opinion not just about a political candidate but all of the issues that come with a candidate, such as abortion. GOP candidate Sen. John McCain has a long record of supporting pro-life positions, and Obama has advocated for abortion even beyond what the National Abortion Rights Action League has sought.

As WND reported, the issue was in the news recently when an Obama campaign television commercial not only attacked McCain but also took aim at an unusual target: a 31-year-old woman who was born alive after her mother’s botched abortion.

Obama’s commercial calls McCain’s ads “the sleaziest ever, truly vile.” When the screen shows clips of abortion survivor Gianna Jessen and the ad she made asking Obama to reverse his stance on born alive infant protection legislation, the Obama ad calls Jessen’s appeal “a despicable lie.”

Created Crisis to Throw the Election

Last week, we watched President Bush, US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, (who is a former Goldman Sachs chief executive, Wall St. insider and card carrying member of the Democratic Party), House Speaker Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reed legislate a $700 billion taxpayer funded bailout bill for mismanaged Wall St. financial institutions. There were no questions asked. No congressional hearings. We still have no idea who is on the receiving end of our money.

At the time, Congress and the American people were told by Bush and Paulson that if the bailout bill didn’t pass within 48 hours, the US economy would suffer another Great Depression. Really?

The American people knew this was some sort of scheme being perpetrated against them and the Capitol Hill switchboards were shut down from telephone calls demanding a NO VOTE, and the congressional email system was overloaded and froze. Once again, the American people were ignored by the majority in Congress.

The Scripture states, “If the thief be found, he must bring back all that was stolen.”

I believe the recent Bush-Paulson-Pelosi-Reed bailout bill was a legislative act to embezzle and extort money from the US Treasury for the benefit of Wall St. friends, and campaign donors. What they didn’t anticipate was the outrage and anger from the American people is so severe that whoever voted YES on the bailout bill is now likely to be voted out of office when they are up for reelection. I pray so!

We need to pray for all involved in the scheme to be exposed and prosecuted by the Justice Department. The FBI has already issued subpoenas to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. More need to come forth. We need to pray for all the secret deals and deal makers to be exposed. America needs to be delivered from these people now!

DID THEY NEED A CRISIS TO PUT OBAMA IN THE WHITE HOUSE?

They needed a crisis! Are they trying to throw the election to Obama since he is the Saudi’s candidate of choice? I have never believed the leaders of the Republican Party, including Karl Rove, intend on John McCain winning the 2008 election. McCain seems to be another Bob Dole—a throw away candidate. They were so focused on Hillary Clinton, they never realized how powerful Barack Hussein Obama is. Now, they are off their game plan. No one thought the Clinton machine would lose. But it did. So now what?

Robert Pastor, co-chair of the Council of Foreign Relations Task Force which published a report called, “Toward a North American Community” stated in an interview with World Net Daily, “What I’m saying is that a crisis is an event which can force democratic governments to make difficult decisions like those that will be required to create a North American Community. It’s not that I want another 9-11 crisis, but having a crisis would force decisions that otherwise might not get made.”

WILL THE REAL OBAMA PLEASE STAND UP!

Look at the facts about Obama’s past that is purposely not being reported by the mainstream media.

1. Campaign donations made through his website are coming from Middle Eastern countries, particularly from Saudi Arabia and the Gaza Strip.
2. His friendships with terrorist such as Weathermen Underground leader William Ayers.
3. No information on his college years.
4. Obama’s father was not a US citizen.
5. Obama’s Kenyan family members are known to be closely associated with Islamic militants in Africa.

Obama’s Foreign campaign contributions. The following information was published by syndicated columnist Maureen Dowd, June 29, 2008.

“Obama’s Troubling Internet Fund Raising”
Certainly the most interesting and potentially devastating phone call I have received during this election cycle came this week from one of the Obama’s campaign internet geeks. These are the staffers who devised Obama’s internet fund raising campaign which raised in the neighborhood of $200 million so far. That is more than twice the total funds raised by any candidate in history and this was all from the internet campaign.
Then, about two months into the campaign the daily contribution intake multiplied. Where was it coming from? One of the web site security monitors began to notice the bulk of the contributions were clearly coming in from overseas internet service providers and at the rate and frequency of transmission it was clear these donations were “programmed” by a very sophisticated user.
While the security people were not able to track most of the sources due to firewalls and other blocking devices put on these contributions, they were able to collate the number of contributions that were coming in seemingly from individuals but the funds were from only a few credit card accounts and bank electronic fund transfers. The internet service providers (ISP) they were able to trace were from Saudi Arabia, Iran, and other Middle Eastern countries. One of the banks used for fund transfers was also located in Saudi Arabia. Another concentrated group of donations was traced to a Chinese ISP with a similar pattern of limited credit card charges.
I guess we should have been somewhat suspicious when the numbers started to come out. We were told (no proof offered) that the Obama internet contributions were from $10 to $25 or so. If the $200 million figure is right, and the average contribution was $15, that would mean over 13 million individuals made contributions? That would also mean 13 million contributions would need to be processed. How did all that happen?
I believe the Obama campaign’s internet fund raising needs a serious, in depth investigation and audit. It also appears the whole question of internet fund raising needs investigation by the legislature and perhaps new laws to insure it complies not only with the latter of these laws, but the spirit as well.

Is it right for foreigners and foreign countries to have a financial investment in who becomes our next president?

Saul Alinsky. After college, Obama moved to Chicago to be part of Jerry Kellman’s organization as a “community organizer.” Kellman was a Saul Alinsky protégé. Among the goals of Alinsky was radical socialism and redistribution of wealth. Alinsky taught his protégés to “hide” their true goals by any means necessary. Lying was fine. The objective of Alinsky and Kellman was to turn people against the White Establishment.

Isn’t this similar to the purpose statements of the Nation of Islam and Black Supremacist groups?

Alinsky wrote two books outlining his organizational principals and strategies, Reveille for Radicals (1946) and Rules for Radicals (1971). Rules for Radicals opens with a quote about Lucifer written by Alinsky: “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical; from all our legends, mythology, and history (who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins-or which is which) the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom—Lucifer.
The first rule of power tactic is: power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have. Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s almost impossible to counter attack ridicule. Also,it infuriates the opposition, who then reacts to your advantage.”

Does this describe the tactics we’ve seen from the Obama campaign? I would say, yes.
This is the tactics Obama has used throughout his short political career. Control, dominate, manipulate, and eliminate all opponents. Hide the real purpose for seeking power. Lie when necessary. Ridicule the enemy.

Aren’t you tired of being called a “racist” by Obama and his supporters? Aren’t you tired of the ridicule?

Gov. Sarah Palin is seen as the enemy by Obama. He has sent 30 lawyers, and dozens of private investigators to Alaska for the purpose of destroying her. Pray for Gov. Palin!

Help get the word out about who Obama really is, and why he is seeking power. We cannot afford for him to be our next president. Pray the voters turn out for McCain and Palin. Pray for God to forgive our sins and heal our land!

2nd lawsuit challenges Obama’s citizenship

Man demands state verify birth records or remove senator from ballots

In a second lawsuit challenging Barack Obama’s “natural born” citizenship, a Washington resident is demanding officials review original or certified birth documents for the Democratic Party presidential candidate.

Steven Marquis of Fall City, Wash., filed suit Oct. 9 in Washington State Superior Court, calling for Secretary of State Sam Reed to determine whether Obama is a citizen before Election Day. Marquis released a statement saying the state has the authority to “prevent the wholesale disenfranchisement of voters” who might have otherwise had the opportunity to choose a qualified candidate should records show Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen.

“At this point, Mr. Obama has not allowed independent or official access to his birth records nor supporting hospital records,” Marquis wrote. “The Hawaii Health Department has violated Federal law by ignoring formal Freedom of Information requests for the same.”

Marquis referenced prominent Pennsylvania Democrat and attorney Philip J. Berg’s lawsuit in U.S. District Court against Sen. Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee for proof of Obama’s American citizenship.

“Mr. Obama failed to respond to the District Court’s request to produce or allow access to the official documents (should they exist) and instead filed a motion to dismiss arguing the Plaintiff had no ‘standing’ or right to know,” he said. “This non-response as of 9/24/2008 in Federal court casts doubt on the veracity of the electoral system and is the principal reason for this lawsuit.”

Marquis said his late entry of the lawsuit is due to Obama’s “delay and subsequent non response to reasonable request for valid certificates.”

He indicated that his requests for certification of the birth documents were rejected by Washington’s Office of the Secretary of State. Marquis requested an injunction to force the office to confirm Obama’s U.S. citizenship or remove his name from Washington ballots. He said the agency is “specifically charged with certifying and guaranteeing the veracity of official documents and overseeing the elections to wit the people’s confidence in the fundamental aspect of democracy is maintained.”

However, Marquis continued, “To date, in this regard, Secretary of State Sam Reed has not carried out that fundamental duty.”
